Across his six decades of making classic albums, Del McCoury knows what he’s looking for in a song. “I

Three years after its last LP, the Del McCoury Band returns to take on the challenge with Songs of Love

and Life. A glorious 13-song collection, the album follows 2021’s celebrated, Grammy-nominated

release, Almost Proud, and once again features Del touching down on a diverse set of tracks- vintage

and contemporary- as he and his crackerjack Band nod to icons Kenny Rogers, Roy Orbison, and Elvis

Presley, as well as welcome next-generation talent, Molly Tuttle, to the party. Produced by Del and his

son, Ronnie, Songs of Love and Life showcases one of the greatest storytellers in music, delivering

another rousing assembly of absorbing, compelling, and unforgettable tales.
