Record Breaking!!
In 2000 Ronnie McCoury broke the record at IBMA for the most consecutive wins in the separate instrument "player of the year" awards. Stuart Duncan won seven years in a row for fiddle player of the year. This year Ronnie broke that win with 8 straight mandolin player of the year awards!
